Like everyone, I had a dream. I dream that never gives me a sound sleep. Everyday, in my dream world, I used to set my foot on an unknown trek to discover the unknown. I saw myself dressing up in a blue and red trekking suit, with matching heavy boot, eyewear, and a trekking bag containing all the essentials. With a glitter in my eyes, light of self-confidence on my face and trusting completely on my legs, I was walking long. I could not hold this dream anymore and decided on going on a trekking destination right away!

The Himalayan Mountain ranges are my dream trekking destination. I registered with a recognized group and we set on a historic journey of my life. I could not express my excitement and emotions as I was on the way to fulfill my dream. An adrenaline rush pushed me to achieve my goals as soon as I could.

Undoubtedly, trekking is an adventurous activity, but you really need to be strong, both mentally and physically to enjoy the challenges. There may be times when you felt like giving up the journey or there are times when you want to go ahead beyond the boundaries. It is something hard to explain. I must admit it was fear that encouraged me to keep going. From the corner of the pit of my stomach, fear prompted me to do everything to make this trip successful.

Hiking India

My hiking trip to India has been an amazing one. It was really a pleasure in meeting Indians and learning about the culture. I never thought that hiking there could be really interesting and peaceful as well. I recently visited Tawang. There we visited different interesting places, especially for people like me who are curious to learn and know more about new people.

To make the place really happening, our tour guide organized trekking to Loudung and Muktur on different days. Depending on our trekking skills we were divided into 2 different groups, Namely team A and team B. I was in Team B. On the first day we trekked to Loudung and on Day 2 to Muktur. Our trek began by climbing to steep hill Ciab for nearly 2.5 hours. On reaching Loudung, you will be able to see great view of west of Bhutan. We stayed there in the village of Namstering. It is a beautiful and wonderful place to spend the evening with villagers there. I felt like staying there for long. It was simply marvelous experience and ones likes to be there forever. Next day we trekked in Muktur, another mesmerizing experience.

Thats what I am thinking about I dont like summer because its very hot here in Delhi. I think this year would be most hottest year as compared to past because there is no rain from last 4 or 5 months here. So I am suspecting it will be a very hot Summer this season.

So I am planning to go to any hill station in July or August.

India is one place where you can enjoy the beauty of the nature to the fullest. Especially the region around Arunachal Pradesh is an awesome place.. I am a nature lover and love to see the forest and explore new regions. Lately I visited the Arunachal Pradesh and got the opportunity to see this mesmerizing place very closely. My communication with nature started there from the time at reached the place. While moving towards the hotel, I was really excited to hear that there are dense forest and high mountains. On our way it became true and I cannot resist the temptation of visiting the place… it was almost night when we reached the hotel. I was eagerly waiting for the morning. Had my breakfast and started the journey…

First we visited the small village of Bugub Tribe & were amazed to see the rustic bamboo homes. But looked cool… From there we walked to other beautiful villages looked as if I was in heaven…) like Rupa, Tukepn Lomekhar and popular Pema Choling Monastry. Gradually the day progressed and in the evening we reached Bomdila at 8500 ft. Overnight we stayed at the hotel there and had some Indian delicacies. The next 3 days were really wonderful we travelled from one place to another trekked and were really enthusiastic to see the Monpa dance, visit the monastery & craft center, have ride on “water run prayer wheels”.
